Christine Brittain

Christine Brittain graduated in 2002 with her Masters of Social Work from the Maritime School of Social Work- Dalhousie University. Her Masters specialization was in Child and Family welfare and family violence, her focus is primarily with children and families.

Christine focuses on a collaborative, strength based, solution focused, and trauma informed practice. In addition to her role with Gentle Path, Christine works as a Child and Youth Program Manager with the Department of Social Development – and has worked in Child Welfare Programs since 1993.

Christine was the 2005 recipient of the Dr. David Stephen Foundation Award of Distinction, an award that recognizes an individual’s contribution to the elimination of Child Abuse.
